Yes, you read that right. Lori, aka The Caketress is at the top of her industry and so young she's really hardly started. Pushing the pastry boundaries with every new creation has no doubt broken way for her fast climb to the top. We're fans and we follow her, so when we discovered a $50 cupcake in a Toronto Life write up, we weren't at all surprised to see her name attached to it.
So how do you get to $50? Start with a three layer Belgium chocolate cupcake (layer of flourless chocolate cake, layer of rich chocolate brownie, Godiva white chocolate mascarpone mousse) and decorate it with white chocolate textured ruffles painted with 24 k gold and wrapped in a custom golden wrapper.
